Arlene Faced with disabling symptoms of multiple sclerosis, Arlene completely re-learned to walk through T’ai Chi, determination and patience. Having personally experienced the healing properties of T’ai Chi and Qi Gong, she motivates and inspires others by example, to improve overall health through these centuries-tested exercises. Arlene is in her seventh year of teaching at Heartwood Center for Body Mind Spirit in Evanston, IL . She has teaching experience in Chicago at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Center for Whole Health at the Fourth Presbyterian Church, Karyn’s and in Tecate, Mexico, at Rancho La Puerta. She is a certified instructor in T’ai Chi for Arthritis and T'ai Chi for Back Pain. During the last ten years she has studied in Southern California with Paul Lam, M.D.; Master TCA (T'ai Chi for Arthritis) Trainer Troyce Thome; Master Abraham Liu; Master Henry Cheung; and at the Taoist Sanctuary and Pacific School of T'ai Chi; plus in Chicago with Raye Bemis and Hau Kum Leung-Kneip.
