Chinese New Year Celebration

Heartwood's t'ai chi students and their guests enjoy a buffet as part of their Chinese New Year celebration.

A brief field trip to nearby Dream of Tea included a conversation with owner Hong Wu who explained some of the tea varieties and talked about how her family celebrated Chinese New Year.

The celebration continues as everyone enjoys some of the many colors and flavors of traditional Chinese teas.

Heartwood practitioner Susan Siokus (acupuncture) describes the history and various therapies employed in Oriental Medicine.
